The Hackamore Stud was founded in 1985 with two
Dartmoor
mares and the lovely old stallion Pumphill Beau Geste. Since then the numbers have grown! The ponies from Hackamore have competed in almost all disciplines from lead-rein to side-saddle, dressage to driving.

| The ponies for sale, mares and stallions can be seen at the stud by appointment and visitors are always welcome. We have well handled young stock for sale often these “babies” have been shown at County level in hand. They are socialised and used to meeting visitors. We try to breed for type, temperament and above all movement and the ponies we offer for sale are suitable for Pony Club or show ring. |
