In-hand Halters and Bridles

Our bridles for in-hand showing are made by specialists. The leather bitless halter can be used with a brass chain for extra control, or with a two-way or Y coupling, or just with a leather lead. They can have stiched detail or plain nose/browbands are available for the heaviest Highland to Shetland size and all sizes in between. From £49.75.

Our custom made leather leads can be laced, fully plaited (to match an SH browband) or plain and are priced form £22.75 (English leather).

The in-hand white tubular flat show halters are in 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" and 1". They can be plain. Plaited on the nose only or fully plaited in 3 strand (section A youngstock) up to 12 strand (section D adult) to be used with a chain, white tubular fixed or adjustable coupling or 3 metre lead. One halter can be fitted with any combination of these from £12.40.
